  Why did Jehovah Kill all the animals in the flood? What purpose did it serve??

  some of my jw family that is waking up posed that question to my jw family that is still hanging on to jw belief.. the stepbrother that posed that question told me;.

  "in all these years of being a jw, i actually never gave it much thought as to why jehovah had to kill millions of innocent animals that had nothing to do with mankind becoming evil.".

  i keep picturing in my mind, all the baby puppies and kitties that were destroyed by jehovah.

  just reading on reddit...witnesses coming over to someone’s home after a death in the family to ‘pick over’ their possessions or asking about if they left any money to the cult?

  i remember, at my previous place of employment, a mexican immigrant at my workplace, had converted to jw from catholic, although i did try to talk him out of it.

  this has to be over 25 years ago.

  House goods out up for sale. Elders daughter got most of it for 5 cents on the dollar. Antiques.

  Another antique dealer type gave the executorship to a non witness. That SOB cleaned up too. Need to make a list and sell most before hand.

  I got it made, little of value except sentimental.

  Sundays talk brought out all the earthquakes since 1914 but ignored all those before. By 2030 the earth will be doomed by global warming. I dont listen real hard so there must have been more proofs.

  The big proof is I am getting old do it better come soon. .

  The old books took artwork from outside sources ( Christendom) and used it. With a search you can probably find a source for Adam and Eve.

  Systemic caste is more correct. The 1619 theory ignores too many things. Maybe the real problem was Eli Whitney saving the south with his machine.

  There is real oppression and slavery in the world but it is perpetrated by traditional enemies of the free world

  There are lots of good movies made, mostly indie. We cant find them much. As for actors, two great ones ( of "color") are Morgan Freeman and Will Smith. they both portray humans rather than caricatures.

  much discussion now about the fallout that is coming due to impacts of the pandemic combined with the long-term downward spiral of jw.org.

  i am active as a pimo and my wife is pimi....much of our personal conversation and conversation with others in jw land focuses on how things will play out for jw.org in the next 12-24 months.

  Wife, friends are elderly that said that. No young ones are in touch with us. I suspect the two thirds with no video are not " dressed"

  Even the pimi seem to be in contact with DF family well past the family business out. I have never known of anyone following the convention example.

  My plans are to fall off the radar when wife is gone.

  I have heard a few say they are not looking forward to going back to meetings. even with the drawbacks of zoom.

  What is lacking is a lucid doctrine and variety in meetings.

  The big production videos are a bit entertaining, the shorts are somewhat insulting. Jade was pretty, neta attractive; Jonah seemed to be idle rich, and his sister would have been married 10 years in that culture

  What was the defining moment that started your becoming a JW ?

  let me explain what i mean: i was in the company of a workmate when i looked at my hands and my arms and pointed out the veins and said something like look at that, isn`it amazing how veins and arteriies circulate the blood through our bodies ?.

  he later explained to me he wasn`t sure what he should say to me as we had been working together for about six years and he had never once brought up about his jw background .he was what we would call a weak witness and he considered me a street kid who swore and drank too much.

  i was twenty years old at the time.. i can`t remember the actual conversations that transpired ,but thats what started me down the road to becoming a witness and then convincing my gf to join me and about two years later we were married in a kh.. can you point to any one thing or conversation that started you down the road to becoming a witness?.
